HISTORY
Company
President and founder, Russ DeFauw, started Performance
Office Papers in 1985 out of a small 2500-square-foot
leased space in Lakeville Minnesota. The company was
organized as employee owned and continues to operate
as such today with over 90% of the shareholders
being employees. Today, our modern facility in Lakeville exceeds 190,000 square feet (complete with rail access) and is home for the corporate offices, manufacturing, distribution and warehouse.
OUR EXPERIENCE
Performance is fortunate
to have experienced, skilled people in all Company
departments, many of whom have been employed since
1985. The experience and dedication of these people
provide a foundation for growth while retaining
ties to Company roots. Our existence and success
is based on quality and service, always recognizing
the customer as the key link to our business.
CONVERTING EQUIPMENT
Our transformation from a business
forms converter to specialty cut sheets began over
10 years ago. By design, equipment acquisitions were
made from manufacturers supplying paper mills equipment
for their cut sheet converting operations. Custom
designed machines from Will, Bielomatic and Pemco
occupy our converting plant and allow us to offer
the PerFect® line of converted cut sheets with
format flexibility, packaging options and superior
quality.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission statement is steadfast
and does not change, it is: TO
SERVE THE CUSTOMER! Our market is
competitive, providing customers with options. Collectively,
each decision made, each carton produced, each order
shipped is completed with our best effort to serve
the customer.
